How we started
Vagina Based started in 2019
Papi Sinner came up with the name — a play on “plant-based.”
Simple, a little funny, but it made people think.
At the time, our message was:
To be vagina-based is to believe that all people are created equal — because every person entered this world through a vagina. That’s the one thing we have in common….and sin.
It sparked conversations instantly.
Some people got it. Some people didn’t.
But it opened a door.
How it grew
As we grew, our perspective got deeper.
We started talking more openly — about sex, identity, shame, the things people usually avoid.
And everything kept coming back to one idea:
Shame is Man-Made.
Because a lot of what we were taught to feel embarrassed about…
is just part of being human.
Who we are now
We’re a woman-forward, queer-forward space — that’s not changing.
But we didn’t want to just be a brand people scroll past.
So we became a collective.
Something that feels bigger than us.
Something people can connect to, learn from, and grow with.
