HOW WE STARTED
Vagina Based started in 2019
Papi Sinner came up with the name — a play on “plant-based.”
Simple, a little funny, but it made people think.
At the time, our message was:
To be vagina-based is to believe that all people are created equal — because every person entered this world through a vagina. That’s the one thing we have in common.
It sparked conversations instantly.
Some people got it. Some people didn’t.
But it opened a door.
HOW IT GREW
As we grew, our perspective got deeper.
We started talking more openly — about sex, identity, shame, relationships, expression and all the things people are usually taught not to talk about.
And everything kept coming back to one idea:
Shame is Man-Made.
Because so much of what we were taught to feel embarrassed about…
is simply part of being human.
And if shame is something we learn, then we can learn to let it go.
WHO WE ARE NOW
We’re a woman-forward, queer-forward collective built around curiosity, honesty, education, expression, and community.
We didn’t want to create another brand people scroll past.
We wanted to build a place people could actually use.
A place to learn something new.
Question what you’ve been taught.
Explore who you are.
Create and exist without apology.
Connect with people who get it.
VBC isn’t about having all the answers.
We’re about being willing to ask the questions.

And we are just getting started.
Sometimes it’s educational. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable. Sometimes it’s funny.
But it’s always real.
